Inward House was founded in 1978 to provide residential rehabilitation for people recovering from drug problems. Inward House Projects was founded in 1978 in Lancaster to provide residential rehabilitation for people recovering from drug problems. From humble beginnings Inward House has developed to become one of the major voluntary sector drug service providers in the North West. Services across Lancashire include residential rehabilitation, full aftercare provision, structured day care, supported housing, floating support, criminal justice support and community support.

Services are provided in partnership with a range of voluntary and statutory drug agencies,   the criminal justice system, health services, and housing associations.

Inward House Projects is a charity limited by guarantee.

Inward House is committed to working in partnership with other agencies in both the statutory and voluntary sectors. Inward House is a member of DrugScope, the European Association of Treatment Agencies and the NCVO.
