The structured rehabilitation programme is of six to nine months in duration. 34 bed spaces are provided at 3 sites in Lancaster. Based on a ‘therapeutic’ approach, the programme operates within a care plan system, and seeks to promote positive lifestyle changes. Individuals are encouraged to take responsibility for themselves and their actions. The programme addresses specific areas e.g. education, employment, parenting and leisure. There is a dedicated women’s unit (9 places) which is equipped to enable children to stay with their mothers for occasional short stay, holiday and therapeutic visits.Residential Rehabilitation Project
