Supported Housing Services
These drug and alcohol free accommodation based services are located in the heart of the communities they serve and have been running for over 10 years providing individuals with a safe, stable and supportive environment. It is from these foundations that clients are supported in addressing the practical issues which affect their tenancies by working through a structured framework of support which leads to resettlement back in the community.
Each client entering the service is offered a 6 month licence agreement and is required to partake in the support package on offer. This includes attendance of group work sessions 3 times a week, 1:1 key work sessions, residents meetings and compliance with house rules. Residents are however, living independently within their own flat/ room and are free to come and go from the building at their leisure.
We take a holistic approach to supporting our residents, however it is anticipated that residents will access other structured interventions such as educational and training programmes and/or voluntary work in order to prepare them for independent living. Residents are also supported in their personal choice of recovery programme such as the12 step philosophies, SMART Recovery or any other structured intervention.
